Recipe - Butterfly shrimp with garlic and parsley!

Time for my first blog entry! Today, this dish was inspired by a picture I saw on Instagram. I've always seen it done in restaurants and my mom's friend's place but never tried it myself. After some quick research online, turns out that it's super easy! Follow the next few pictures to see how it was done, quick and simply yet looks super professional and sure to impress!

Start off with a few (1 lb pictured) of Tiger Shrimps - I'd totally recommend Costco's seafood counters. These shrimps were fresh, delicious and already de-veined - saving you loads of time.

To butterfly the shrimp, easier than it looks. All you need to do is cut off the "blade" at the end of the tail. Make sure that the top of the shell is cut in half. Then, using a sharp knife, place the shrimp on the side and slowly but surly cut into the shrimp while opening it. It takes about 45 seconds per shrimp to prepare. These shrimps are on top of some extra virgin olive oil!

Then taking some room temperature buttah (put in microwave for 15 secs), parsley paste (sold at Safeway or can be grounded yourself), minced garlic (which I recommend you to cook a little on stovetop), fresh black pepper, sea salt, a little bit of basil - you make this delicious concoction!

Spread liberally on ALLLL of the shrimp! Use it all up!

At 240 degrees (highest rack) for about 7-10 minutes, it's done! VOILA, so easy :)

Looks so good...

Plated for us to enjoy with our garlic/olive oil Cous Cous :)

And of course, ending it with an Instagram picture. ENJOY!

Total prep time: 15 minutes
Total cook time: 7-10 minutes

Bon appetit, guys!
